About us

Kerri, Rose and Joanna are three former college roommates who met in their first week of college. Kerri found a passion for financial literacy, and wanted to create an entertaining way to share this information with others. Joanna and Rose were the perfect guests, as two engineering students who wanted to learn about personal finance, but didn't know where to start.

Unpack Finance began in 2021, inspired by an economic inequality course Kerri took in college. Though the course focused on the many causes of economic inequality, Kerri was struck by how empowering financial literacy can be. Unlike the zip code we're born into, we have more control over our personal finances and decisions. Financial literacy can help people build a healthy and stable financial future.
